10-minute Downscaled Climate Projections

Future climate projections from the World Climate Research Programme's (WCRP's) CMIP3 multi-model dataset are statistically downscaled using the CRU Cl 2.0 20th Century climate dtaaset. The CMIP3 multi-model datasets also were used by the IPCC for the 4th Assessment Report.

Download projected future climate grids by:

• emission scenario (a1b, a2 or b1)
• climate model (e.g. BCCR BCM 2.0)
• variable (temp=temperature or prec=precipitation)
• year (1975, 2050 or 2090)

The downloadable datasets on this page are in a GZIP compressed tar file format (.tgz). Windows users may need to use a third party application, such as 7-Zip, to unzip and uncompress these.
