Reid Bryson Climate Scholarship

This scholarship is awarded annually to exemplary graduate and undergraduate students whose research continues the tradition of innovative and interdisciplinary research conducted and encouraged by Professor Bryson, the founder of the Center for Climatic Research.

John Kutzbach Climate Research Fund

This fund provides general, discretionary support to the Center for Climatic Research.

Gifts may be used to enhance or expand the Center’s teaching, research, and public service roles or to help the Center pursue new opportunities and address strategic priorities, including the top-tier research of CCR scientists. Gifts may also be used for faculty, staff, and student recruitment, retention, and morale.

The Center for Climatic Research advances understanding of the climate system through interdisciplinary investigations of past, present, and future climates, and the application of this knowledge for societally relevant purposes.

Gifts to CCR play a crucial role in enhancing the breadth and quality of our research and educational programs. We have identified two targeted giving opportunities to support the mission of CCR: one directed towards supporting student research and the other directed toward advancing the mission of CCR’s excellence in climate science.

Gifts in any amount are needed and appreciated!

Giving by Check

Checks should be made payable to UW Foundation – Nelson Institute and mailed to:
